Mr. Bachi spent 18 months at the First District Court of Appeals in Tallahassee as a senior law clerk to Chief Judge Anne C. Booth. This dual certification makes him uniquely qualified to handle civil litigation matters from their commencement to conclusion, including the handling of any appeals and extraordinary writs. Over the course of his career, Mr. Bachi has been trusted by various clients to handle numerous high-profile cases, including litigation surrounding the death in 2009 of 21 polo ponies in Wellington, Florida, the defense of a wrongful death claim brought by an apprehended shoplifter against Albertson’s Grocery Stores in 1996, a wrongful death claim involving the shooting death of a 16-year-old in 2003 while he was playing “ding dong ditch” in a Boca Raton residential neighborhood, and the defense of a polo mogul in a wrongful death claim arising out of a 2010 automobile accident resulting in the death of a young man. Mr. Bachi has also spent over 35 years representing professionals such as chiropractors and veterinarians. Mr. Bachi, an avid sports fan, has volunteered time coaching youth basketball and assisted in the running of wrestling tournaments at Wellington High School. Mr. Bachi is admitted to practice law in all of Florida’s state courts, the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and holds Martindale-Hubbell’s AV® Preeminent™ rating, which is the highest rating issued by that peer review service. He has been recognized as one of the “Legal Elite” by Florida Trend Magazine and as a top lawyer in South Florida Legal Guide. He has also been selected by the publication Super Lawyers from 2014 through 2020. Mr. Bachi focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including malpractice, product liability, premises liability and bad-faith insurance.
